Reduce
Reduce
verb. make smaller or less in amount, degree, or size.
We can always reduce. We are all so accustomed to using disposables – bags, bottles, cups, sandwich bags, plates, cutlery, wipes, nappies, kitchen roll – that we forget many of these have reusable alternatives. We’ve got the tools you need to reduce your use of plastic bags, cling film, water bottles and coffee cups!
 Reuse
Reuse
verb. use again or more than once.
For our environment - next to reducing - reuse is best. If we know we are going to reuse something, we learn to be responsible for it and to treat it with respect. If we are making something we know we want to keep, we will make it well and of high quality. Every tool you find on this site is made to a very high practical and ethical standard. And everything has earned it’s place by being endlessly reusable.
Recycle
Recycle
verb. convert (waste) into reusable material.
Recycling is a useful process, but of course it takes a lot of energy to recycle things. Most of the tools on our site are made from recycled materials (see individual product descriptions for details). If you want to find out about the recycling centre near you – take a look.
